The 12th Annual Estero Fire Rescue Fill-A-Fire-Truck Toy Drive is underway. Each year, EFR collects toys for children ages newborn to 17 and distributes them to those in need within the fire district. Last year, enough toys were collected to assist 36 children as well as providing assistance to other charity groups such as Interfaith Caregivers and Our Mother’s Home. Games and books were also provided children for the after school program at the Estero Community Park.
If you would like to help, drop of any new, unwrapped toy at any of our four fire stations or the Estero Fire Rescue Administration Complex on Three Oaks Parkway. Gift cards are also accepted.
Applications can be picked up at our administration office – deadline is December 12, 2016. You must be a resident in the Estero Fire District to receive toys and provide proof of residency upon application completion.
