Estero Fire Rescue is pleased to announce the departments’ recent win at the local Florida Public Relations Association’s Image Awards.
The department won the Judges’ Award for their video presentation of their 2009 Estero Fire Rescue Budget, designed to educate the local residents on the department and its budget requirements for the 2009-2010 budget year.
The Judges’ Award signifies maximum client exposure was achieved through the public relations program for the least amount of money. The video was created using in-house resources and staff yielding a totally in-house product with no out of pocket dollars.
The award was presented to Fire Chief Scott Vanderbrook, Assistant Fire Chief Mark Wahlig and Public Relations Manager Susan Lindenmuth. “We are very proud of this award,” stated Lindenmuth. “It was an honor to be chosen for an award like this when you are up against professional public relations firms.”
