Estero Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at 2:01 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2007. The fire was called in by a neighbor who was able to rescue the family pet after calling 911.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the garage at 23451 Red Root Ct in Estero.
Firefighters quickly searched the home for occupants and found the home unoccupied. Crews made access to the fire and were able to contain it to the garage and extinguish it. No one was injured in the incident. The estimated cost of damage is $25,000.00.
