Estero Fire Rescue Brings Home Gold!
Estero Fire Rescue is pleased to announce the departments’ recent win at the Florida Public Relations Association’s Image Awards. The department won the coveted Golden Image Award for their video presentation of their 2009 Estero Fire Rescue Budget, designed to educate the local residents on the department and its budget requirements for the 2009-2010 budget year.
The Golden Image Awards have become a standard of public relations excellence in the state of Florida and demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. To qualify for judging, an entry must incorporate sound public relations research and planning. Entries also must meet the highest standard of production, execution and evaluation of results and budget. The video was created using in-house resources and staff yielding a totally in-house product with no out of pocket dollars.
The award was presented to Fire Chief Scott Vanderbrook, Assistant Fire Chief Mark Wahlig and Public Relations Manager Susan Lindenmuth. “We are very proud of this award,” stated Lindenmuth. “It was an honor to be chosen for an award like this when you are up against professional public relations firms.”
